What Conditions Cannot Be Treated with Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a highly effective tool that can improve and treat many conditions, and has gained increasing popularity over the years.
On the other hand, it is not a panacea and there are some conditions that cannot be cured or treated using hypnosis. For example, hypnosis can’t be used to:
- Make hair grow;
- Make a person grow taller;
- Enlarge a person’s breasts
I created this page because I want people to have accurate information so they don’t waste there hard earned money on false hope.

When you are researching hypnotherapists, check their credentials and read as much information as you can on the myths and facts about hypnosis. Here are some pages to get you started:

In addition to this, I have compiled a list of scientific studies on my hypnosis research articles page that tell you the cold hard facts about hypnosis and where studies have shown it is effective. Browse through these articles as they offer lots of detailed information about this subject.
Conditions that cannot be treated by a hypnotherapist
I don’t use the word ‘cure’ anywhere on my website. This is because I can’t promise to cure anything. In particular, there is no known ‘cure’ for any of these conditions:
- Cancer;
- Neurological disorders;
- Organic Clinical Anxiety;
- Organic Clinical Depression;
- Fibromyalgia;
- Chronic pain
I should mention that while I do treat many people for anxiety, depression and other emotional conditions, and they often get great results, I never promise the client that I can cure the condition.
My aim is to provide information to help you make an informed decision as to whether or not you may be able to benefit from hypnosis.
Call or email me on my contact page if you would like to discuss your requirements or if you have any questions.
